Appeal to Emotion Fallacy - Trump used the emotion of fear in a fallacious way during his campaign. This was shown in his speech on the Orlando shooting. He says, " If we don’t get tough, and if we don’t get smart, and fast, we’re not going to have our country anymore. There will be nothing, absolutely nothing, left. The killer, whose name I will not use, or ever say, was born in Afghan, of Afghan parents, who immigrated to the United States." He goes on to say, " We cannot continue to allow thousands upon thousands of people to pour into our country many of whom have the same thought process as this savage killer." He says this during his speech to make his audience fearful of immigrants and what they might do to the country.
